I know I’m not drop by here for a long time. But can’t blame me!
I’m not a person who really blogs about what happen, but more of what I’m thinking.
Either way, for most of my private events of my life, you can visit Mag’s blog. Since I do spend quite some quality time with her =p
Other than that, been busy with trainings, work, resting, and… resting. haha.
Will update again when.. err, photos are done. (Which is when I’m.. FREE) *cross fingers*
Went to another training held by Mr. Asok.
The topic of yesterday night was: Freedom is not Free.
However! I’m not here to talk about the training.
But is what happen AFTER the training.
Was on my way to MRT station where I see 2 man with the very similar posture, awaiting to talk to me. You know like how those insurance agent at those roadshow? Yeah, those kind of feeling. But it was pass 10pm at that point of time, and it’s pretty rare for insurance agent to stay till so late, yes?
Then I made a decision, that I will spend a minute or two, to listen to him, depending on what he is going to talk about. Naturally when I walk pass, my eyes are either 1) staring on the floor 2) looking far away 3) Staring at some grass or flower at the side. Then as usual. I know he came and approach me.
Told me that he will only take up 2 minutes of my time. The next thing I see is the pamphlet, donation for SHO (Singapore Heart Organization). Well, I stopped and decided to help. He was so grateful that I actually decided to listen to what he have to say, and I guess he is damn nervous cause his hand, was damnn sweaty.
So anyway, was he was telling me about the continues donation plan for SHO, I was very interested. Since it’s not those “Donate 10,20,50 dollar now funding” But a monthly donation straight from bank to SHO. Means this chap don’t get to hold those donation fund in his hand at the end of the day.
Then we started chatting about what kind of people he meets at his line of work. When we share some of our point of views, it really lighten my day. Especially when he told me that having the chance to talk to me was a light in his day. I never knew that my words can one day makes someone, a stranger, happy.
I think the world really will change, and it starts with ourselves. Cause when I changed, the people I meet and know, are different. The things I see feels different. The words I hear, mean different things now.
I have seen the changes, have you?
There are words spoken by Dato’ Vijay and all the other V-Partners which really brings a lot of thoughts and emotions into me. The following are a few that I think, it’s very important to all of us.
Face the Challenges, Stop Imagining.
That is very very true to me. I’ve always been a daydreamer, almost everyone who knows me, knows that I’m pretty much known for staring out in space looking like a moron. I always retreat from an event, a situation, problems even before I gave it a shot. The reason is simple. I imagine too much. I imagine the possible results of failing, rejections and loneliness. Even though I do imagine about myself being successful in a way or another. But I never live up to all these good dreams of mine. Instead, I chose to stay back and listen to all those “possible results of failure” in my mind.
One Step At A Time. Be Consistant and Persistent.
This have a huge impact on me too. I always rush. I rush for results and confirmation. I want to be acknowledge by other people, thus I want results fast. Plus I always give in to my temptation. Temptation of sleep, entertainment, enjoyment, laziness. There was never consistancy and persistence in my dictionary. Not until now. I love to skip steps in my life. I like to find shortcuts to make things easier. But I realise, it only brings stupid endings into my own life.
Thoughts leads to Declaration then to Actions follow by Habits and ends with Character.
This shows that how powerful our mind is. Just with a single thoughts, it can change out characteristic. Let me state an example.
Some people likes to say : “I can’t do this, I’m really stupid, I can never get things done“
Because of these kind of thoughts, not because they don’t have the capability, but because they have already restricted themselves from even making the first step in trying. I’ve been there and I understand how it feels. A lot of things in life is possible. You know the world IMPOSSIBLE, why not make it I’M POSSIBLE?
